The hands that still intercede
“He is always living to intercede for them.”Hebrews 7:25
When Jesus rose, He kept the marks of the nails. He showed them to Thomas: “Put your finger here.” Glorified, but still wounded.
Hebrews tells us He “always lives to make intercession” for us. The wounds are His prayer — the Father sees them and remembers what love has paid.
Your own wounds, united to His, are not wasted. They too can become intercession for someone you love.
A short prayer
Lord Jesus, show the Father Your wounds for me today, and teach me to offer mine for others. Amen.
